Welcome to the New Glen Rose Campus

StoneWater's newly renovated Glen Rose Campus looks amazing.  We are located on Hwy 144 North in-between Glen Rose and Granbury.  Look for this sign along the road as you travel on Hwy 144 North.

Here is the new look for the Glen Rose Campus (Fresh Paint Scheme, Rock Work, Windows, and Enclosed Front Foyer).

Parents, you are going to love the large check-in area for your children on Sunday mornings.  Our renovations team knocked out some walls and opened up a large gathering place for you to easily register your children each week and gather to meet your friends before and after church.  We have a fully staffed children's ministry during both of our Sunday morning worship services for children in these three areas:  1. Nursery, 2. Potty-trained thru Pre-K, and 3. Kinder-5th Grade met upstairs in our largest rooms that are themed in an outdoor camping experience.

The auditorium looks fantastic and will fully seat 250 people in one worship service.  We added new paint, lighting, blacked out the stage, added rock-work to the front of the stage, and enhanced the sound quality by adding panels to control the sound.  Don't worry, you will still be able to eat your donuts and drink your coffee in the new auditorium.

History of the new Glen Rose Campus

StoneWater Church met with the leadership of Freedom Church of Glen Rose, TX in May 2010.  The leaders of Freedom Church determined the best way to fulfill the mission of Jesus was to gift their building, land, and assets to StoneWater Church.  StoneWater decided the best way to utilize the new facility was to start a new church that will reach people in the Glen Rose and greater Granbury area.  Freedom Church held their final worship service in July 2010 to celebrate all that God had accomplished in their church over the past 20 years.  StoneWater Church spent four months renovating the church facility preparing for the first worship service that was held on December 5, 2010.  Over 280 people attended the first worship service in December.

StoneWater Church would like to recognize the huge sacrifice that Freedom Church made in order for us to start a new church.  The renovations to this great building will help us reach and equip people in this location for decades to come.
